City and Colour - The Jezabels - Asha Jeffries - More to be announced
Australian ExclusiveExclusive to Brisbane Festival, City and Colour performs his only Australian show to close out both Brisbane Festival 2019 at the Riverstage on Saturday, 28 September.
Joined by acclaimed Australian act The Jezabels and rising star Asha Jefferies, with more special guests to be announced, the event rounds out the Riverstage’s 30 birthday celebrations and coincides with the dazzling fireworks display that is Sunsuper Riverfire.
City and Colour, the moniker of singer/songwriter Dallas Green, is undeniably one of the biggest groundswell stories to emerge from Canada.
Also known for his contributions as a singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for post-hardcore band Alexisonfire, together with duo You+Me, a collaboration with Alecia Moore (P!nk), Dallas has compiled a canon ripe with songs over the course of five studio albums, amassing a legion of fans worldwide and garnering him three Juno Awards, including two Songwriter of the Year awards.
He’ll be playing tested crowd favourites alongside new tunes from his forthcoming sixth studio album, his first original music in almost four years.
The Jezabels are no strangers to Australian festival stages, from their humble beginnings in Sydney to shows across the world. Picking up multiple awards and several Gold record accreditations, they return to the stage in all their glory.
We’ve ensured a great view of the fireworks for the Riverstage crowd, with a special live screening of Channel Nine’s exclusive television coverage.
Access to Riverstage via the Goodwill bridge closes at 4pm due to Sunsuper Riverfire preparations.
